Service Through Dance
Redondo Ballet created the RBC Outreach Team to provide our dancers with opportunities to further improve and give back to our community through volunteer-based service projects that create a positive environment, encourage civic engagement, and facilitate empathetic development for dancers who gain the lifelong value of charitable activism.
OUR IMPACT
SOCKS OF LOVE
Co-president of the RBC Outreach team, Jaden, donating our “Socks of Love” to Project Needs at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church! Redondo Ballet is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so make sure to keep up with our upcoming projects to support us!
PARENT'S NIGHT OUT
Parents enjoy a well-deserved evening off while our Outreach Team hosts a fun-filled “Parent’s Night Out” — an evening of games, crafts, and care for the kids, all in support of our community programs.
BEACH CLEAN-UP
RBC Outreach took part in a beach clean up in Manhattan Beach.
THANK YOU EMERGENCY RESPONDERS
The team made Valentine’s Day cards for local firefighters as a show of support and gratitude for their service.
LOVEJOY
Our team collected lots of awesome pet supplies which will be donated to The Lovejoy Foundation! This is an organization that cares for animals ready to be adopted. Your donations are greatly appreciated! These supplies will allow for the animals to be taken care of even better now!
BUTTERFLY PRESERVE
The Butterfly Restoration was a process of clearing out the invasive mustard plants at Palos Verdes for the Blue Butterflies Habitat. The project was a great success and plenty of mustard plants were removed!
THANKSGIVING
Fabulous and creative Thanksgiving cards were made and delivered to Sunrise Senior Living in Hermosa Beach.
FOOD DRIVES
The RBC Outreach team making a positive impact in our community by conducting a food drive for the Salvation Army.
SUNRISE SENIOR LIVING
74 Valentine’s Day cards were delivered to Sunrise Senior Living
PROJECT NEEDS
The team held a canned food drive for less fortunate families and individuals and delivered all donations to Project Needs
HOLIDAY CHEER
RBC Outreach organized a basket of donated gift cards, goodies and snowman treats for an adopted family from the Cancer Support Community.
STORYTIME AT THE LIBRARY
Members of the RBC Outreach team host storytimes, accompanied by a hands-on activity, for the Redondo Library.
