Productions
Each year the Redondo Ballet Company takes to the stage to delight audiences
of all ages, communities and interests in two distinct productions.
I was just blown away by how wonderful it was! Eveything was so professional – of course the dancing was spectacular, but the costumes, the sets, the lighting, the addition of video – I mean everything was just fabulous! And Grandma’s performance and energy, excitement and love of the theater just warms my heart!
The show was fabulous, the performers talented, and the production brilliant.
The Snow Queen
Redondo Ballet’s annual production of “Snow Queen” offers a captivating twist on Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale, unfolding each winter. Immerse yourself in a world of enchantment as we breathe life into the fanciful journey of Rudie and Pearl.
As the malevolent Snow Queen freezes summer and steals Pearl away, Rudie’s quest to find his friend takes a fantastical turn. From encounters with cowboys, mermaids, and pirates to the lure of poisoned apples, our imaginative retelling unfolds through captivating choreography, elaborate sets, and stunning costumes.
Will Rudie’s odyssey lead to the reunion of lifelong friends, or is it all a dream woven by the Snow Queen’s icy magic?
Experience an opulent, deliberate, and intensely entertaining viewing as Redondo Ballet transports you into a world that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy, leaving you utterly spellbound!
Through the Pages
Through the Pages is an original ballet about fairy tales, but with a BITE!
These fairy tales take us on a journey with characters we know, love and some we may even fear. Our guide is a very special and magical grandmother. She entertains and entrances her grandchildren who stay with her for one amazing weekend a year.
Meet Scheherazade and Ali Baba, the Warrior Princess and her Dragon, a Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Magic Horse and more! Enjoy your magical journey Through the Pages!
“We want to bring high-concept, high-level productions to the South Bay – that encompass fabulous dancing, wonderful costumes, creative sets and beautiful music. These are stories, and an experience, that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike,” say concept creators.

REVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS
The venue was exquisite and the enthusiastic response from the crowd (was) contagious.
I was so impressed with the production value of the ballet! The costumes were absolutely beautiful and helped show off the beautiful movement of the ballerinas! The sets helped you visualize the scene and really get into the story. Each ballerina was animated and in character! You could feel their passion for what they do even as a young cast! The ballet was about an hour and a half long but it went by quickly because you became invested in the story and you couldn’t help but be mesmerized by the talent of the Redondo Beach Ballet!
